Our cutting boards have a completely unique history behind them - they are produced locally in Denmark in social economy workshops and are also made from recycled materials from the Danish furniture industry. We use cuttings from tabletop production that would otherwise be wasted, and give them new life as functional and beautiful cutting boards. our cutting boards are available in both 100% recycled oak or walnut wood.

Maintenance of your wooden cutting board

Although all Underflod's cutting boards are treated with natural oils, it can be a good idea to treat your cutting board once in a while to maintain its quality, so that it remains usable and nice for many years. It doesn't really matter which oil you use. When applying oil, we recommend that you use one of the following oils - Grape, seed, rasp or sunflower oil. Apply one of the oils to your dry cutting board and let it sit for a while before washing it off with water and a mild dish soap. In addition to oil treatment, it is important not to put the cutting board in the dishwasher.
