Since we were small, Emil (th.) and I knew we should have a business together. At the time we didn't know what it was going to be, but as long as we could do it together, everything was actually good.
I really don't know where it came from, but Emil and got an interest in furniture design in our teenage years. Maybe it was when Emil had design in high school and I read his books at home.
Although Emil and I share many interests, we are also different in many respects. Emil is the creative one who gets a lot of (sometimes) good ideas. He loves to find a good recycled find, whether it's clothes or furniture. Social work is his great passion and I think that, if it were up to him, Underflod was a non-profit organization that should try to save the world.
I (Mads) am in many ways the complete opposite. On a daily basis you will find me in a white shirt and I have a great interest in cars and delicious wine. I am responsible for the operation of the company and work a lot with our numbers. My biggest dream is to make Underflod the world's largest furniture and interior design brand.
Our opposites are Underflow's greatest strength. With Emil's dream of the greatest possible Impact and my dream of seeing Underflod grow, we always find the best compromises. This is exactly what makes Underflod unique.
